About Us

Mom. Wife. Woman.

Today's Jewish mother fills so many roles.

Our days are filled with tasks from the mundane to the spiritual and everywhere in between. But it can be hard—mind-numbingly hard—to be everything for everyone.

Our goal is to lighten your load, even if it's just the tiniest bit. With tips, suggestions, and recommendations, if we can make your day just a bit easier, we've done what we've set out to do.

It takes a village.

As a young mom, I found that I was not always supported the way I needed when raising my kids. I got comments telling me just to be grateful when what I really needed was a shoulder to cry on and some practical advice.

I would reach out to my friends, and together we'd share our frustrations, challenges, and successes. And I realized that if I could share even a fraction of what I learned, I  could help some other struggling moms.

Quick Tips

Pro Tip

If you have little kids, choose a vacuum that can hold an entire box of cereal in the canister. Don’t want to be emptying it mid-vacuum like I was this morning.

Cleaning Tip – Sand in the Car

If your car looks like a beach after summer outings, you’re not alone.Keep a handheld vacuum or even just a small whisk broom in the car. After park trips or beach days, do a quick sweep-out of sand and crumbs before they get ground into the carpet. I also put an old towel down under car seats for crumb-catching, which helped. Car is now (temporarily) crumb-free – until the next snack, anyway.

Shoe Bin Tip

I am implementing a new rule: all shoes live in the bin or shoe tree by the door. That way, no one is scrambling to find their other sneaker in the morning. I put a little mat and a bin where they have to deposit their school shoes as soon as they get home. We’ll see how long the compliance lasts, but one can dream. At least today we know exactly where every kid’s pair of shoes is – which is more than I could say last week!

Keepsake Organizing Tip

As the school year is about to start, I’m prepping a system for the inevitable artwork avalanche. My plan: each kid gets a big art portfolio folder (or even a large cardboard envelope or thin storage bin). When they bring home artwork or special projects, I’ll have them pick their favorites to keep in the folder. By June, we’ll hopefully have a curated collection instead of a mountain. (I also secretly photograph a lot of art and then “recycle” it… shhh). Trying to start the year organized – wish me luck!

What I Believe

I believe in working smarter, not harder. I strive to bring beauty into my life without spending unnecessarily. And I am always trying to embrace the imperfections of life.

I’m always looking for incredible people and partners.
