About Us

Mom. Wife. Woman.

Today's Jewish mother fills so many roles.

Our days are filled with tasks from the mundane to the spiritual and everywhere in between. But it can be hard—mind-numbingly hard—to be everything for everyone.

Our goal is to lighten your load, even if it's just the tiniest bit. With tips, suggestions, and recommendations, if we can make your day just a bit easier, we've done what we've set out to do.

It takes a village.

As a young mom, I found that I was not always supported the way I needed when raising my kids. I got comments telling me just to be grateful when what I really needed was a shoulder to cry on and some practical advice.

I would reach out to my friends, and together we'd share our frustrations, challenges, and successes. And I realized that if I could share even a fraction of what I learned, I  could help some other struggling moms.

Quick Tips

Shoe Bin Tip

I am implementing a new rule: all shoes live in the bin or shoe tree by the door. That way, no one is scrambling to find their other sneaker in the morning. I put a little mat and a bin where they have to deposit their school shoes as soon as they get home. We’ll see how long the compliance lasts, but one can dream. At least today we know exactly where every kid’s pair of shoes is – which is more than I could say last week!

Keepsake Organizing Tip

As the school year is about to start, I’m prepping a system for the inevitable artwork avalanche. My plan: each kid gets a big art portfolio folder (or even a large cardboard envelope or thin storage bin). When they bring home artwork or special projects, I’ll have them pick their favorites to keep in the folder. By June, we’ll hopefully have a curated collection instead of a mountain. (I also secretly photograph a lot of art and then “recycle” it… shhh). Trying to start the year organized – wish me luck!

Calendar Check Tip

I double-checked the school calendar and added all important dates to my phone calendar. 🗓️ Half-days, picture day, parent-teacher nights – all logged with reminders. I even color coded them for each kid so I can see how their schedules differ at a glance. Because I will forget if it’s not written down. If you haven’t yet, take a minute to scan the calendar and note those random days off (hello, teacher development day smack in middle of October). Future you (and your boss or babysitter scheduling) will thank you big time.

How to Cool Your Tea

Put a spoon in your freezer and then use it in your tea to cool it instantly without watering it down!

What I Believe

I believe in working smarter, not harder. I strive to bring beauty into my life without spending unnecessarily. And I am always trying to embrace the imperfections of life.

I’m always looking for incredible people and partners.
